The most ordinary things like water reveal God. Prayer is like life-giving water. We meet the Lord as at a well, asking us for a drink. Here at Bethesda, a man came to be healed by waters and instead encountered the Lord who gave him new life, welling up from within.

Prayer is like water for the garden of our lives, allowing the flowers to bloom and trees to bear fruit. How is my ‘garden’? Is it being watered by prayer? Do I go to the wellspring of prayer often?
